Ann

by Ann Spriggs
(Leicester)

We are a family in Leicester who would like to relocate to the Outer Hebrides. My husband is an electrician, I am a carer, our daughter has Rett Syndrome. We would like to live in an isolated area, we love seclusion, at the moment we have a narrowboat which means we can get peace and quiet, if we did not have our daughters problems we would live on the boat. We have visited Lewis a few years ago and fell in love with the scenery and the tranquility. We are not sure whether the area would be suitable for our daughter though, are there facilities for day care? Are there facilities for respite care? Would my husband be able to find enough work? We are very interested to hear from anyone with any advice for us. Many thanks Ann Spriggs
